CIS 124 Introduction to JavaScript (JS) (5 credits)
Prerequisite CIS 121 with a grade of at least 2.0 and MATH& 107 with a grade of at least 2.0, or instructor permission.
Course Description Introduction to JavaScript (JS) applications. Learn to program in JavaScipt, and script the DOM (document object model), using current frameworks.

B. Basic scripts, objects and events
C. Object-oriented programming
D. Design, Testing, and Debugging
Student Outcomes
- Code JavaScript statements, objects, functions, and events
- Use and script the JavaScript DOM (Document Object Model)
- Test and debug JavaScript (JS) applications
- Integrate front-end scripts and applications i.e., HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Apply current JavaScript (JS) frameworks such as jQuery, React, Node, Vue
