February 28, 2023 (pre-publication) - Addendum approved to add ENVS& 101 as an option to the Environmental Science (AA-DTA) Course Map and Environmental Science (AS-Track 1) Course Map .
March 28, 2023 (pre-publication) - Addendum approved to add ART 250 as an option for students in two places in the Art and Art Education (AA-DTA) Course Map .
June 1, 2023 - Remedied course numbering error. PCADE 094 and PCADA 094 approved as Foundations for Success Returing was updated to PCADE 099 and PCADA 099 because 094 is Survey in Art History.
June 11, 2023 - remedied credit shortage error created by the archiving of courses for the Film Studies (AA-DTA) Course Map and Technical Theatre and Acting (AA-DTA) Course Map s. Headings have been revised to increase clarity. Instructions under headings have been added to increase clarity.
June 14, 2023 - unarchived seven courses: ABE 031 , ESL 042 , ESL 052 , ESL 062 , PCADE 061 , PCADE 081 , PCADE 095 per approved addendum.
June 15, 2023 - changed the course number for ABE 093, Foundations for Success for New Students, to ABE 086 as 093 had been used for another course in prior years per approved addendum.
June 23, 2023 - remedied error in fact in the Criminal Justice (AAS) Course Map , Criminal Justice Certificate Course Map , and Forensic Technology Certificate Course Map . A 2.0 in each course requirement had been approved March 19, 2003, but was not reflected in the college catalog. Added graduation requirement section to the introductory section of each of these maps reflecting the 2.0 grade requiremetn in each course for graduation. This is effective July 2023.
July 3, 2023 - remedied course number issue in Health Information Technology & Analytics (AAS) Course Map , Application Development and Analytics Certificate Course Map , and Data Management and Analytics (AAS) Course Map –CIS 215 was renumbered to CIS 125 to clarify the sequencing of courses.
July 5, 2023 - remedied error-in-fact in the Network Engineering and Cybersecurity Course Map – old versions of courses (CNE 232, 235, 237) remained listed alongside updated versions of courses (CNE 211, 212, 213). To increase clarity and transparency, added a note that students who previously completed CNE 232, 235, or 237 will fulfill the Windows requirement for the degree.
July 5, 2023 - per approved addendum request made on behalf of faculty for the Computer Science (AA-DTA) Course Map, shifted the course purposes just below the headings for the Quantitative Symbolic Reasoning Recommendation, Humanities Recommendation, Social Sciences Recommendation, and Natural Sciences Recommendation portions of the map.
July 6, 2023 - remedied errors-in-fact in the Veterinary Technology Course Map. New courses and notes did not appear as they should. Added total credits and total with prerequisites credits lines to the map.
July 7, 2023 - Unarchived ANTH 167 . ANTH 167 was archived with the 3-year archive process, but needed to be offered in summer 2023.
July 10, 2023 - Archived Small Business Entrepreneurship Certificate Course Map .The archive of this certificate was approved by Learning Council in winter 2023.
July 14, 2023 - Unarchived GEOG 200 . GEOG 200 was archived in 2022-2023 academic year, but needs to be offered.
October 6, 2023 - Integrated updated Administrative Drop for Non-Attendance Policy language approved spring 2023 and effective July 1, 2023 into the Getting Started at Pierce .
October 27, 2023 - remedied error-in-fact in the Fire Services Leadership and Management (AAS) Course Map –was listed as AAS-T, but needed to be listed as AAS
November 9, 2023 - remedied error-in-fact on Pre-Nursing DTA/MRP Degree Requirements –instead of the correct 90 credits minimum required, it was listed as 91. Revisions were made to increase clarity on the requirements page, particularly around communications and social science requirements sections.
December 2, 2023 - archived the Microsoft Systems Administrator Certificate Course Map , as it was renamed to the Microsoft On-Premises and Cloud Systems Administration Certificate Course Map .
February 20, 2024 - remedied system error. Course outlines approved for ESL 014 , ESL 024 , ESL 034 , ESL 044 , ABE 034 , ABE 044 for the 2023-2024 catalog did not sync properly. The course outlines have been updated accordingly.
March 5, 2024 - remedied an error-in-fact in the Math Education DTA/MRP Degree Requirements page caused by an archive that was completed last academic year. MATH& 153 was archived, but the replacement, MATH&163 was not integrated into the degree requirements page at that time. MATH& 163 has been added in place of the archived MATH& 153
April 2, 2024 - remedied an error-in-fact in the Criminal Justice (AAS) Course Map and Criminal Justice Certificate Course Map , CJ 224 remained as an artifact under the capstone/electives headings though the course was approved for archiving during the 2022-2023 academic year.
April 16, 2024 - remedied an error-in-fact in the Technical Theatre and Acting (AA-DTA) Course Map in the first action item that referenced DRMA 170 (archived in 2022-2023) and elective groups that were restructured in 2022-2023.
April 26, 2024 - remedied an error-in-fact in DRMA& 101 . Course was listed as both Humanities with Performance and Humanities, but only fulfills the Humanities distribution area.
