MNGT 296 Current Trends in Human Resources (5 credits)
Prerequisite MNGT 295 with at least a 2.0 grade.
Course Description Explores current human resource issues including local, state, and federal labor laws; effective recruitment and selection techniques using behaviorally-anchored structured interview format; training and development strategies using competency-based individual development plans; 360-degree performance review; and how to write employee policy manuals and job descriptions.
