Course Description
An in-depth look at the post-Second World War era from 1945 to 1989. Emphasis is on the political, economic, and religious aspects of the Cold War and its impact on emerging Third World nations.

Course Content
A historical inquiry into the Cold War with examination of the following:
A. Politics
B. Economics
C. Culture/Religion
D. Education
E. Science & technology
F. Law
G. Military affairs
H. Status of the environment
I. Relations between the superpowers, and their principle allies and opponents
