CONST 330 Communications and Conflict Resolution (5 credits)
Prerequisite Admission into the BAS Construction Management Program.
Course Description The development of skills needed to create and deliver professional construction management presentations. Includes a series of workshops and practical exercises in construction presentation skills, teamwork, leadership, and conflict resolution.

Student Outcomes
- Apply listening skill strategies in order to accurately capture the needs of the client.
- Create accurate and impactful construction presentations that targets client need, contract requirements, and delivery methods.
- Lead a team through the creation and presentation of a design-build and other delivery method presentations of construction managers.
- Compose presentations to exhibit skills to maximize presentation effectiveness.
- Demonstrate conflict resolution techniques with project teams
- Compare and contrast the different types of ownership of management styles and actions.
- Apply strategies for negotiation with owners, contractors, and other construction stakeholders.
