Prerequisite Enrollment in the Veterinary Technology Program
Course Description Maintain hospital patient records, clean and sanitize holding facilities, supply proper nutrition and administer treatments.
Course Content A. Role of the veterinary technician in the daily care of dogs, cats, and large animals.
Student Outcomes 1. Collaborate in the daily care of veterinary technology animals housed on campus.
2. Demonstrate proper procedures that include cleaning and sanitizing of holding facilties.
3. Supply proper nutrition, maintain patient medical records and administer treatment.
