VT 224 Veterinary Clinical Laboratory Principles (2 credits)
Course Description Lecture course covering advanced laboratory principles and techniques in hematology, urinalysis, cytology, bacteriology and parasitology.

Student Outcomes
- Identify the roles of the veterinary technician in the clinical laboratory.
- Describe the clinical techniques used in hematology, urinalysis, parasitology, microbiology and cytology.
- Distinguish between normal and abnormal findings in blood, urine, and fecal samples from multiple species.
