DHYG 331 Dental Hygiene Teaching Practicum (1-2 credits)
Course Description A practicum course for currently enrolled dental hygiene students introducing best practices in laboratory or clinical dental hygiene teaching. Students will develop introductory lecture and instructional skills under the mentorship of licensed Pierce College Dental Hygiene Faculty. The successful completion of this course may contribute to a portion of the Capstone assignment associated with DHYG 439 or DHYG 474. This course is optional for Entry-level BASDH senior status students and Bridge BASDH students; it is not required for the BASDH degree.
