VT 250 Radiology for Veterinary Technicians (3 credits)
Prerequisite Enrollment in the Veterinary Technology Program
Course Description A course focusing on, fundamental radiographic techniques, correct patient positioning, and technical quality. Includes a discussion of small animal, large animal, and exotic animal techniques, and imaging technologies.

Student Outcomes 1. Discuss function and maintenance of radiographic equipment.
2. Produce diagnostic radiographic views of various animal species.
3. Discuss radiation safety and adverse effects of radiation on living tissues.
