Course Description
Principles and practices of management as applied to for-profit and not-for-profit organizations. Real world scenarios in business are used to help the student apply principles to contemporary management problems.

1. Apply the four functions of management—planning, organizing, leading, and controlling—to solve organizational problems and improve performance.

2. Analyze how managers respond to external uncertainty and adapt internal processes to maintain organizational effectiveness.

3. Evaluate ethical and socially responsible management practices that impact employees, stakeholders, and community well-being.

4. Demonstrate how inclusive leadership and diversity strategies contribute to team development and project success.
