DHYG 318 Education Methodologies I: Patient Centered Care (1)
Prereq: Successful completion of DHYG 283 as per the current Dental Hygiene Department Policy on Academic Standards and current enrollment in Bachelor of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene program.
Emphasis on effective communication with patients as well as co-workers. Students will be given the opportunity to develop their own style of presenting patient education while learning motivation techniques.
