Prereq: Junior standing or admission to a baccalaureate program.

Organizational Communication analyzes informal and formal communication practices in contemporary organizations. Internal and external communication practices are important to the organization’s ability to effectively convey organizational intent across multiple stakeholders and to successfully implement plans over time. The course applies research-based theories to examine and resolve organizational communication dilemmas that are structural and / or ideological in nature in the context of a rapidly-changing world.
