BTECA 100 Business Keyboarding: Key the Alphabet by Touch (1 credit)
Course Description Students use a computer keyboarding program to learn to keyboard by touch with correct fingering using proper ergonomic position at a computer workstation.

B. Speed and Accuracy Focus
C. Type by Touch with Correct Fingering
D. Correct Ergonomic Position
Student Outcomes 1. Type alphabetic text at a minimum rate of 15 wpm for 2 minutes with no more than 4 errors.
2. Demonstrate typing by touch with correct fingering position on the alphabetic and service keys.
3. Demonstrate proper ergonomic position at a workstation.
