ASL& 122 American Sign Language II (5 credits)
GER-HM
Prereq: ASL& 121 ; with a grade of 2.0 or better; or 1 year high school equivalent; or instructor permission AND completion of ENGL& 101 ;with a grade of 2.0 or better.
In ASL& 122, students will continue developing their sign skills while building on vocabulary, enhancing number skills, learning more about classifiers, increasing fluency and incorporating non-manual grammatical markers and non-manual signals with more ease. They will be introduced to basic storytelling using these new skills and techniques as well as learn more about deaf culture and grammar.
