Course Description Introduction to behind-the-scenes activities of stagecraft/digital film: stage/digital film terminology, stage/digital film organization, tool familiarity, safety, and scenery construction.

Student Outcomes 1. Demonstrate effective production organization and management for stage and digital film by participating in show production.
2. Demonstrate effective use of stage/digital film tools and materials by building a set piece or property.
3. Explain different scenic production techniques to understand when they should be employed.
4. Create an appropriate set design that demonstrates an understanding of time/space/and cost.
5. Design and create a complete property plot for a theatrical/digital film production that demonstrates an understanding of production techniques along with time, space, and cost restrictions.
6. Create a sound design that demonstrates an understanding of different sound production techniques.
