KINS 267 Internship (3 credits)



Prerequisite KINS 128, KINS 252, KINS 253, KINS 254, KINS 257, KINS 258 and KINS 260 with a grade of 2.0 or better.

Course Description
Workplace experience connecting students’ academic and instructional learning while being mentored by a professional in the industry, under the guidance of the instructor.

Student Outcomes
1. Apply effective communication, timeliness, responsibility, collaboration and relationship/conflict management in the workplace. 

2. Articulate long-term career goals and intent to pursue national certification exam and/or credentials required for employability in the industry upon completion of work-based learning experience hours.
