Course Description
A non-audition choir open to community members to perform with students. Music reading experience not required.
Course Content
Course content is based on the choral literature chosen for quarterly performance(s). Literature to be performed is determined at the beginning of each quarter and depends, in part, on the interests and collective performance ability of the students involved.
Student Outcomes
- Perform a varying assortment of choral repertory.
- Sing in a variety of languages with proper diction and enunciation.
- Demonstrate a professional attitude toward practice, using self-motivation and self-evaluation, as it pertains to the appropriate performance of selected music.
- Demonstrate professional performance etiquette.
- Support and mentor students in the ensemble.
