EM 440 Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for EM (3 credits)
Prerequisite Current enrollment in the Bachelor of Applied Science in Emergency Management program.
Course Description This course provides an introduction to geospatial technologies, including Geographic Information Systems (GIS), Global Positioning Systems (GPS), geofencing, and remote sensing (satellites, drones) and their application supporting the five emergency management mission areas.
