BTECA 133 Microsoft PowerPoint (3 credits)



Course Description
Students will learn principles to create and modify a PowerPoint presentation.

Course Content
A. PowerPoint presentation processes
B. Slide formatting and customization
C. Tables, SmartArt, charts and photo albums
D. Integration, sharing, and protection of presentation

Student Outcomes
  1. Apply skills and concepts to create presentations in MS PowerPoint for business and academic presentations.
  2. Modify the appearance of presentations in MS PowerPoint.
  3. Apply tables, SmartArt, charts, and photo albums in the creation of MS PowerPoint presentations.
  4. Apply custom animation and slide show settings to MS PowerPoint presentations to manage audience interactions and slides.


Degree Outcomes
  1. Employ software and/or technology to manage information.
  2. Apply technical skills to meet industry standards in the office.
  3. Communicate effectively using written, oral, and visual communications skills with diverse people in the office environment.
